SALON UPDATES

To our Valued Salon Clients & Friends,

At Salon Evangelos, client and staff safety is our utmost concern as operations return with many modifications.

There are many new safety and sanitation precautions that we will be implementing that we wish for you to be made aware of prior to your visit at Salon Evangelos. The following information are new guidelines and safety protocols for each client to follow.

Please Read Carefully

  • Please Come Alone to Your Appointment – Unless you are a parent, legal guardian or a caretaker for someone who needs assistance, we ask that you bring no other guests or children. If the above come to your appointment they are required to follow all the same rules: mask, no food or beverages, and keep proper social distancing.

  • If you have been sick - If you have been running a fever recently, if you have been ill, or around someone who has been ill, please refrain from coming to any salon appointments. We kindly ask that you wait a minimum of 14 days before you reschedule your next appointment

  • Arrival/Greeting – We kindly ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. To reduce the amount of people in our reception area, we ask upon arrival that you remain in your vehicle and call via your cell phone to let us know you have arrived. When it is time for your appointment we will call you to come in. (If you do not have a cell phone, come to the door and make us aware of your car’s location so that we may come get you for your appointment) Once you’re in the salon, we’ll take a temperature reading and direct you to wash/sanitize your hands for 20 seconds, before escorting you to your assigned service area. Your service provider will also sanitize their hands as well.

  • Touchless Greetings & Goodbyes – We will not be shaking hands or hugging at this time. However, please know that we have missed you and want to be updated on how you’re doing.

  • Touchless Temperature Readings – We will be checking the temperature of staff members & our guests upon arrival with a non-contact infrared forehead thermometer. Temperature readings must read under 100.4 or lower per the CDC recommendations (Code 42 Part 70/71). If temperatures exceed 100.4 Employees will be sent home. Clients too must have a reading under 100.4 or we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment.

  • CDC Requires Guests to wear Masks – All Salon Evangelos staff will be required to wear masks and protective gear at all times. It will also be required that every client wear a mask to their appointment as well. We ask that you wear one that secures behind your ears when receiving all services at this time. We welcome you to bring your own mask, as we will not be able to supply every guests with their own. However, we will have a very limited supply of disposable masks available if needed for a charge of $1.00 each. No one will be allowed into the salon without wearing a mask; it must be worn at all times. Under no circumstances should your mask be taken off. If it is removed, you will be jeopardizing your health and those around you.

  • During your shampoo – Please keep talking to a minimum, as we are unable to keep a social distance while working on you; just relax.

  • Please limit conversation during your salon service for your safety, as well as the safety of your service provider.

  • Extra Sanitation – We are taking extra steps to sanitize every work station and service area after every single guest visit. We take your health and the health of our employees very serious.

  • Social Distancing – We are splitting our service providers into shifts, thereby reducing the number of people in the building. The majority of our staff will have reduced hours, and their normal work schedules will be temporarily interrupted. Service providers and support staff will be working within the state recommended distancing regulations to keep a safe and healthy distance.

  • No Beverages – We will not be offering any beverages at this time. Also, please do not bring in any food or drinks with you to your appointment, as you cannot remove your mask anyway.

  • Cancellations/Limited items – Please kindly give us at least a 24-hour notice of cancellation. A last-minute cancellation will result in lost time and income for our service providers whom are already working on reduced hours and servicing less clients. Please limit any belongings that you bring with you to your appointment. This may mean only bringing in your phone and form of payment rather than your whole handbag.

  • Additional Safety Surcharge – There will be an increase to salon costs to provide services to clients. We’ve increased measures to clean and sanitize, provide protective gear to staff, adjust and also modify workstations with additional safety equipment. As such, there will be a nominal protective service charge.

  • No magazines will be available in the salon at this time!

  • Hand sanitizer has been conveniently placed throughout the salon and spa.

Salon Evangelos began scheduling appointments on May 27 for services starting May 29th and into the future. Due to the adjusted time schedules of our service providers, your scheduled appointment may not stand as previously scheduled. However, we will notify and make contact with you as soon as possible.

We thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. We will do our very best to accommodate you as soon as possible with our new limited regulations in place. Thank you so very much for your kindness and support during this difficult time. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Warmly, Salon Evangelos
